Mrs. Bartz Ese Teacher

I’m Mrs. Bartz and I currently teach Exceptional Student Education at Manatee School of Arts and Sciences for all grade levels.  We follow an inclusion model, meaning that I work with students in the regular classroom setting.   I also chair the Child Study Team, Response to Intervention Team, and coordinate FAIR testing which we do three times a year to assess reading skills.
 
The importance of the whole child has always been the core of my approach to education.  I taught preschool for 15 years before joining the original staff for the opening of Manatee School of Arts and Sciences to teach kindergarten.  My certifications include pre-K through 3rd grade, kindergarten through twelfth, and ESOL. 
 
As well as reinforcing skills in math, reading, and writing I also help my students with knowing their own learning style, organizational and study skills, test taking skills, and strengthening visual and auditory memory. 
 
When I’m not working with students or in a parent conference I’m most likely working my way through a heap of paperwork!
